The Immortal Destiny - In the opening story, we find out the origins of Dr. Fate. How the young lad, Kent Nelson loses his father at an archeological dig and gains the power of Dr. Fate.
Golden Age Classic - The second story is an old classic of Doctor Fate. He thinks he's destroyed the evil scientist Wotan. He needs to confirm his death and enters the Region of the Styx. He discover Wotan is not dead and heads back to the world of men to track him down and put a stop to his evil plans.
In the last story, we find Dr. Fate being drawn out by a sense of foreboding. Meanwhile at the Boston Museum of Egyptology, something is amiss with the new exhibit. From the antiquities comes the evil Khalis! Mortal enemy of Nabu. Khalis steals Dr. Fate's amulet and leaves him for dead. Dr. Fate must now get back his amulet and stop Khalis.
