This Special Edition is a reprint of the original issue #1 including a new cover by Mike Okamoto, new text features with previously unpublished pages by Eddy Newell. The original printing was a 66,000 copy complete sell out. Additionally there is advance information regarding up coming issues #6 through #9 and Annual #1.

The text articles include interesting tidbits about the series and the art. There is one scene featuring Penny Robinson in a bikini tending her greenhouse plants that is more ‘Good Girl Art’ than space opera. There is suppose to be an explaination as to why she is dressed that way in the upcoming issue #7 of regular series. Judy Robinson never looked so sexy in numerous panels through out the book. The back inside page features the ‘Hot Cover Painting’ by Joe Jusko for Lost in Space Annual #1! More ‘Good Girl Art’ featuring the Robinson daughters including a Villain (?) holding a whip.
