Thor is recruited by Nick Fury to stop an alien ship so powerful that it refuels by destroying stars. When he boards the vessel, Thor encounters an alien named Beta-Ray Bill. The two do battle as the ship hurtles towards Earth. But when the enchantment placed upon Thor by Odin transforms him back into Donald Blake, he is easily overcome.Seeking the hammer with which his enemy fought him, Bill takes up Blake's walking stick, and upon striking it against the wall of his ship Skuttlebutt, gains the power of Thor.
