Return to Downton Abbey: A Grand Event

A one-hour Downton Abbey special has been announced!


Based on ITV’s hugely popular period drama series, the long-awaited Downton movie finally arrives in cinemas in the UK tomorrow.

Return to Downton Abbey: A Grand Event will air on NBC in the US at 8pm on Thursday 19th September, the day before the film’s US release.

Unfortunately, the special is not expected to be shown in the UK or elsewhere in the world.

Hosted by Derek Hough from Dancing with the Stars, the show was filmed at Highclere Castle in England and will give fans “an inside look at the feature film.”
