Fauda: Season 2

Season 2 of the successful series that was picked by the NY Times as one of the best international series for 2017. In this season, the team faces a new enemy who is willing to wreak havoc on the entire region.

Al-Maqdisi refuses to let go. His attempts to harm Doron and his team lead him into conflict with Hamas' political leadership and with Walid. Resulting from Al-Maqdisi's action, Shirin is taken for questioning.

Al-Maqdisi's family, Walid and Hamas leadership urge him not to take action, but he's determined to follow his plan, even if that means a clash with Walid. Doron's team is in turmoil due to his violent actions.

Al-Maqdisi's operation doesn't go as planned, which causes a rift between him and Hamas leadership. Doron's violation of Eli's order results a serious reaction. The team learns about Al-Maqdisi's actual capabilities.

Doron realizes that his family is in danger, and decides to take action. Despite Walid's intentions, Al-Maqdisi decides to help him. Doron and Shirin's secretive connection proves to be fruitful.

After the operation is finished, the relationship between Doron and Shirin heats up. As the operation didn't yield the intended result, Captain Eyov takes an unusual step to get information on Al-Maqdisi's whereabouts.

Walid is suspended from the Hamas and Al-Maqdisi seize the opportunity to try and replace him. In the meantime, Eyov takes advantage of Abu Samara's weakness and plans an intricate action in the Nablus Casbah.

Although the stay in the Kavilio's bring Shirin and Doron closer, Shirin has to leave the country and part from Doron. The two realize they've formed an unusual and complex connection and even Amos starts appreciating the new guest.

El Makdessi's attack weighs heavily on Doron and Shirin's relationship, and she's taken back to the Shabak for further interrogation on her involvement. While Doron is grieving, Naor finds another opportunity for intel breakthrough.

Intel extracted from Walid enables "Barbershop operation" to proceed. Doron is consumed with grief and struggling to overcome it, until his team encourage him to act.

"Barbershop operation" doesn't go as planned. El Makdessi finds himself isolated, it's him against the world - but he insists to move on with his big terror attack plan.

Doron confronts El Makdessi directly.
