Alexa & Katie: Season 2

Sophomore year is off to a good start for the girls until Katie twists her ankle. That gives Alexa something else to focus on while waiting to hear from her doctor.

Katie is thrilled when chosen to study acting in London. But the $2,000 tuition is way out of her financial range. So she takes on a series of odd jobs trying to come up with the money to send her to the UK.

Katie applies for a job at the the coffee house without telling her mother. Lucas and Gwen go out on a date with the girls determined to sabotage it. Jennifer gets annoyed with Jack's dance moves.

Alexa gets the doctor's OK to play basketball but struggles on the court. A heart-to-heart with another young cancer patient reminds her of how far she has come.

Alexa and Dylan get into a fight before the big Halloween party, Katie thinks she knows to fix it. But what if these two were never meant to be together at all?

Alexa says she feels better. So the girls take her shopping for a Sweet 16 dress. Back at the house, a stressed-out Lucas asks Dave for dating advice.

Katie needs help prepping for a math midterm. Alexa offers to ask Dylan. Jennifer still doesn't know her daughter has a job.

To keep Christmas on track Alexa is working overtime. When she happens upon her old hospital bag it stirs up memories throwing her off her holiday game.

While Alexa and Katie set up for their New Year's Eve party up on the roof, Jennifer, Jack, Lori and Dave team up for game night. Katie appears to finally be ready to confess her feelings for Ryan.

The coffee machine incident means Katie can't afford to go to London. She doesn't want Alexa to find until after her Sweet Sixteen party, though. Jennifer and Jack play hooky for the day.
