Fran hates money, but she does need it to buy what she loves: things. Her only hope is winning the lottery.

Fran Lebowitz knows cigars aren't good for health, but trying to live healthy all the time isn't really the best life.

Fran loves to have fun - no guilty pleasures included. Parties, movies, children and Cary Grant. Smartphones and computers, though, not so much.

During her childhood, Fran was amazed by the power of books. Today, she still is, and can't imagine ever throwing a book away. But her love for books doesn't stop her from being selective about which books are actually good.
