The Doctor and Donna visit a planet-sized library but soon realise that the planet is devoid of life, that is until River Song and her team of archaeologists arrive. As they unravel the library's mystery, something lurks in the shadows.

With the library darkening, the Doctor takes on the Vashta Nerada while figuring out what links River Song to his future. Meanwhile, Donna finds out the mystery of Dr. Moon and the Girl.
