Candice Renoir: Season 3

Homeless Jeff reports the finding of a body near a beach in Sète. Aline confirms cause of dead is strychnine poisoning. Jeff stole the bicycle's victim, along with his ID and address: Joachim Brisset, 24, a squatter in a downtown building and a member of a freegan community. His father Étienne, thought him to be working in Cuba. JB has left the team, and, although he is not yet discharged, Antoine is back to stop Attia transferring the case to Montpellier due to lack of forces. Candice is having an affair with Commandant Canovas from the BRI.

A woman is stabbed in her home and it looks like a crime of passion of her lover, Rodolphe Becker, just released from prison for the murder of his wife. Even if he always claimed his innocence, everything seemed to accuse him then and now. But when Candice gets to know the man, she faces the doubt and gets off the main track of the case, as she thinks it all seems too obvious.

Reeling from Canovas' departure, Candice investigates a murder where the body has disappeared. Unfortunately, Dumas' mother seems to be involved and the victim is not quite the saint everyone claims. Meanwhile, Antoine is self-medicating in an effort to deal with his PTSD.

The story circles around French police officer Commandant Candice Renoir and her team solving different crime cases in a harbor city of south France.

Antoine's drug addiction is leading him to dangerous lengths and it's starting to affect his work, as the team digs into the death of a poor, single mother. Another new guy, who works very much to his own schedule, is transferred to the team.

Attia finally goes into labour and Candice has to take over for her. Antoine is supposedly on leave but actually under cover at the docks, leading to more secrets and lies between Candice and Canovas.

A children's sailing instructor disappears into the sea, Candice finds out that she is taking in a refugee girl who has also disappeared. Candice discovers that Antoine is dating Jennifer and he organizes a couples dinner with David and Candice.

Brigadier Mehdi Babou, joins Commandant Renoir's team and he seems "different" from them but he will be as surprised as the rest of the team of Candice's methods. The brigade will test him quick: the body of a woman is found near the cliffs. Edible paint remains on the victim's body put them on the trail of a nearby illegal nursery. At home, Candice watches the conflict between her posh ex-husband Laurent and David Canovas, her new boyfriend from the BRI.

Thomas Hérédia, Chrystelle's ex-boyfriend who has just returned to her life, suddenly disappears. Given the old conflicts over taking custody of Lucas, the son they had together, the lieutenant becomes the main suspect. Candice, with the help of Antoine, investigates day and night to try to prove her innocence.

The body of Alexandre Calgagni is found torn apart in the ballroom school where Captain Canovas practiced for years. With the help of David, comfortable in the environment of music, dance partners and competitions, the team of investigators must find the truth from the lies and will uncover a family drama of unprecedented violence, so far from the glamour of dance.
