The World From Above: Season 4

From the Port of Tilbury to the River Thames, to the Palace of Westminster and The Tower of London, discover one of the oldest cities in the world. London is a city with Roman roots and countless historic sites.

From Buffalo, head to the Genesee River to take in a few waterfalls. Then head to the Finger Lakes, Ithaca, and Syracuse. Next are the Old and New Erie Canals, before arriving at Saratoga Springs.

Beginning in the city of Ronda, the birthplace of modern bullfighting, head to the spectacular Moorish castle of Zahara. Then head to Cordoba, and on to Espejo. The final stop on this trip? Granada.

Kicking off east of Weymouth, head to the abandoned ghost town of Tyneham and over to William the Conquerer's Corfe Castle. Then it's on to the ancient pagan holy grounds of Knowlton Rings.

Kicking off from the old mining town of Butte, head west to Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest. Next is the Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains, Rock Creek, and the mining city of Granite.

Explore the ancient battlegrounds of the Highland clans before heading to the famed fortress of Eileen Donan. Then it's off to Iona before taking in Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the United Kingdom.

Explore Yellowstone National Park and its lake, river, and canyon before delving into its geothermal features in the Mud Volcano area, and end the journey at one of the US's most loved attractions, Old Faithful.

Beginning at the Normandy beachheads, site of the D-Day landings from WWII, continue to the fortified medieval city of Granville. Then it's on to the famed Mont Saint Michel, ending at La Trinite.

Beginning in Snowdonia, home to the Italian-inspired village of Portmeirion, we head to Aberystwyth. Then it's off to the UK's only coastal National Park, also home to St. David's Cathedral.

Taking off from the province of Saxony-Anhalt, follow the River Elbe through Wittenberg before moving to Worlitz, Thuringia and into the state of Hesse. End at the romantic Reinhardsbrunn Castle.

Beginning in the province of Caserta, head to the town of Anzio to explore some of Italy's WWII ties. Then it's on to the ancient Appian Way and into one of the world's greatest ancient sites, Rome.

From the medieval center of international trade in Antwerp to the WWI battlegrounds of Ypres, complete the tour of Belgium with a bird's eye view.

This journey including the Chartreuse de la Valsainte, Lake Geneva, Montreaux and its Jazz Festival, the ski resort at Verbier, mountains in Valais, and then Locarno and Ascona on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

Take off from the Tagus River estuary, then travel Europe's longest beach, Costa Da Caparica. Then head to the cork groves of the Alentejo plain and the Roman temple of Evora, ending at Elvas.
