The Cloud 9 employees hold a memorial service for their co-worker Brett; Amy worries about Dina's anxiety; Jonah looks into Garrett's past; Mateo and Cheyenne convince Glenn that they were close with Brett to avoid work.

Emma joins the Cloud 9 workforce, causing Amy to stress about her role as a parent; Garrett and Dina disagree over which one of them dumped the other; Kelly struggles with her first day on the job.

Tensions arise among the employees after an attempted robbery, pitting Dina against Jonah. Meanwhile, Glenn has a tough time firing the store security guard.

With the highest prize for over 20 years, lottery mania sweeps Cloud 9; Dina incentivizes Garrett to sell as many tickets as possible to get one over on Colleen from the Bel-Ridge store; Jonah encourages Amy to lobby for a raise.
