A horror mesterei

The lonely, shy and lesbian etymologist Ida Teeter (Angela Bettis) of The McNaughton Museum of Natural History is obsessed by her collection of insects. She works with her colleague and friend Max (Jesse Hlubik), who also advices her about her sex life. Ida receives an anonymous package from Brazil with an unclassified insect, and the weird bug breaks free from the box. Soon after that Ida falls in love for the gorgeous Misty Falls (Misty Mundae), who is bitten and infected by the bug. She and Ida move in together. When Ida receives a letter from her former Professor Malcolm Wolf (Mike McKee) explaining how the insect reproduces and transforms the animals it bites, Ida starts to suspect something is wrong about Misty.
