The Martian Queen kidnaps Cadet in an all-out attempt to exact revenge on Dodgers, who abandoned her at the wedding altar. Dodgers must keep his Protectorate Captain's certification by taking a yearly course.

Jealous that Marvin has another archenemy, Dodgers involves himself in Marvin's skirmish with dreaded Dr.Woe. Tired of mounting space hijinks, Dodgers quits Protectorate to work in food service industry, where familiar characters somehow tend to resurface.
