Video Game High School
It's the near future: You're dead. Your kids are probably dead. Your grandkids (if they're alive) are playing video games. Why? Because professional gaming is the biggest sport on earth.
Around the world, millions of players duke it out in fighters, RTS’s, First Person Shooters and more. To the victors go the spoils: glory, clan contracts and million dollar endorsements. The best young gamers are recruited by elite boarding schools to sharpen their skills. The best of the best go to VGHS: VIDEO GAME HIGH SCHOOL.
BrianD is just an average gamer. He is given a shot to play for one of the top schools in the nation when he unknowingly takes on the top player in a public match, which is also aired on national television.
BrianD is finding it hard to fit in at VGHS. He takes on a school bully, makes two new friends, and develops a crush on the JV FPS Captain.
While dealing with a nervous breakdown from meeting 'The Law' previously, BrianD meets the FPS 101 teacher and gets an opportunity to show his skills to Jenny Matrix during a pit run. Mesmerized by her, Ted tries to woo Ki and successfully secures a date to Jenny's party.
After being invited to Jenny's party, BrianD attempts to bribe his way into JV practice but ends up having to fight 'The Law'. During their date at the party, Ted and Ki are challenged by a group of drifters. Ted is forced to race 'DK' to save Ki's game tablet.
Brian, Ki and Ted all attend their first class of rhythm gaming and Ted has a nervous breakdown caused by the drift racing he took part in at the party. Brian learns an ugly truth about the scrimmage that afternoon and decides to play anyway.
After causing the loss of the scrimmage, Brian becomes the laughing stock of the school. The constant mockery from his peers and the dean's suggestion to 'rage quit' causes him to put his future at VGHS on the line.
Brain remains in VGHS after being saved by Jenny. At sign ups he is met with 'Law' who pushes his buttons causing them to fight. Ted and Ki go to tell his father why he should sign up for Drift Racing instead of Rhythm gaming. However, he tricks Ted into changing his mind. Ki is left with a decision to help change Ted's life forever.
After being expelled, Brian goes to work at an arcade. His friends show up and tell him that he may still have a chance to play in try-outs since he already signed up.
BrianD comes back to VGHS for one last game and he convinces the dean to let him play. Furious, 'Law' attempts to keep Brian from getting back into school.
