But Strawberry's forgotten about her birthday and can't figure out why no one wants to play with her today. Meanwhile, the Peculiar Purple Pieman has devised a devious plan to ruin the birthday party and gain all the berries in the valley for his pies.

Meanwhile, the Peculiar Purple Pieman has devised a devious plan to ruin the birthday party and gain all the berries in the valley for his pies.

A special delivery has arrived for Strawberry Shortcake all the way from Big Apple City! Her shortcake recipe has won her a spot in the final round of the Big Bake-Off that will be broadcast on TV that very day. Trouble is, the Pieman is the other finalist; he's willing to use every dirty trick he knows to win first prize. Strawberry will have to rely on the new friends she makes in the city to help her make it through the competition.

The Second Annual Grand Old Pettable Pet Show and Pet Parade will be taking place today in Strawberry Land. As judges, Strawberry Shortcake and Custard are the keepers of the first prize: a beautiful new tricycle with a pet basket. The Pieman sees this prize and wants it for himself; he may just get it with the help of his old partner Sour Grapes. Meanwhile, a new girl named Angel Cake sits on the sidelines at the pet show wishing for an animal of her own to love.

Strawberry Shortcake has just returned from a trip around the world and is now in the process of moving into a new house. Lime Chiffon and Blueberry Muffin decide to surprise their friend by throwing a housewarming party and inviting all the people Strawberry met on her trip. Word of the event reaches the Purple Pieman and Sour Grapes via the Berry Birds, who have been trained to eavesdrop and repeat what they've overheard. The dastardly duo's plotting might just ruin Strawberry's surprise by putting her loved ones in danger.

Plum Pudding and Elderberry Owl return to Strawberry Land after a long vacation and bring back two new friends. Strawberry and the others are berry delighted to meet Peach Blush and an adorable little baby girl who doesn't have a name yet. The travelers' arrival coincides with two events: the annual camping trip, and the appearance of large footprints that the Peculiar Purple Pieman believes belong to a monster. These events collide when the Baby wanders off during the campout and follows the monster's trail.

All the Berry Folk in Strawberry Land decide to bring one of their very best fruits and berries to an upcoming celebration. They each drop their selections off in a cornicopia only to find them sitting on their doorsteps later on. It turns out that the fruits that they picked are actually adorable little berry people named Berrykins. Soon the Peculiar Purple Pieman and Sour Grapes learn about the sweet-smelling tykes; they decide to kidnap the Berrykins and use them to make perfume!
