Primeval: Series 5

Philip recruits Connor for his New Dawn project when the team are called to deal with a giant subterranean insect dragging victims to its nest. Meanwhile Lester believes he is up for a knighthood.

A liopleurodon comes through an underwater anomaly and attacks a Royal Navy submarine. Lester contends with an admiral intent on using nuclear weapons to close the anomaly.

The team are called to an art exhibition where they find a raptor on the loose. They lure it back through the anomaly - into Victorian London. Matt goes through to fix their mistake and is reunited with Emily.

Ignoring Matt's warnings, Connor creates the first man-made anomaly for Philip's New Dawn project. Soon after, a deadly swarm of future beetles come pouring through and the team must fight to survive.

As the team make plans to stop Philip from creating his anomaly they're alerted to a T-Rex wreaking havoc in the city. Soon anomalies are opening all over the world, it's the ARC's biggest challenge yet.

Matt and Abby go through the New Dawn anomaly to rescue Connor from a future wasteland. Meanwhile in the present the anomaly is radically altering the Earth's atmosphere, spelling the end of all life on Earth.
