Medium
A médium 3. évad
From Emmy Award-winning executive producer, creator and director Glenn Gordon Caron (Moonlighting) comes Medium, a chilling drama series inspired by the real-life story of research medium Allison Dubois. Patricia Arquette (Stigmata, Flirting with Disaster) stars as a young wife and mother who, since childhood, has been struggling to make sense of her dreams and visions of dead people. Allison DuBois (Arquette) is a strong-willed young mother of three, a devoted wife and law student who begins to suspect that she can talk to dead people, see the future in her dreams and read people's thoughts. Fearing for her mental health, she turns for support to her husband Joe (Jake Weber, "U-571"), an aerospace engineer, who slowly comes to believe that what his wife is telling him just might be true. The real challenge is convincing her boss, D.A. Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) -- and the other doubters in the criminal justice system -- that her psychic abilities can give them the upper hand
Everyone's dreams begin to have meaning, especially Allison and Bridgette's, and an old flame of Allison's appears on her doorstep.
Devalos takes ill, the home invasions continue but Allison can't figure things out, and Joe is less than pleased by Clay Bicks' presence.
Allison keeps having the same dream, or is it day, and the clues she gets may help her prevent a tragedy.
Dr. Walker returns, and Allison's attempts to save a young girl may endanger her life.
Allison's birthday gift for Joe starts sending her messages, and a highway sniper terrorizes Phoenix.
Allison meets an FBI profiler she admires, but her visions start to involve him.
Interconnected dreams begin when Allison and Ariel stumble across a murder scene, and Ariel's resentment grows as she's needed to help catch the killer.
Allison tries to rescue a boy that she sees in her dreams, while she also tries to find out about the circumstances of an assemblyman's recent death. The two issues turn out to be related.
Allison's attempts to help two ghosts who've bonded over their respective murders is somewhat hampered by one who's left a sizable inheritance to a woman he barely knew.
If dreams of child abuse weren't disturbing enough, Allison becomes spooked by a young boy's doll, who seems to have urged its owner to kill. Meanwhile, with a project deadline looming, Joe becomes concerned about his health.
Skeptical Texas Ranger Kenneth Push comes back into Allison's life after he begins to experience dreams of a shocking murder in Phoenix. Also, Joe suffers an embarrassing moment after telling a white lie.
Joe takes a turn at figuring things out when Allison is inhabited by another woman.
When Allison's dream seems to foretell Marie's death, she will stop at nothing - including selling the house - to change the future.
Sonny Troyer is back, but what's even more frightening is he's learned how to manipulate Allison to his own evil ends.
Teenage Allison dreams about her future, her personal life, and her work. Is it really the future she sees in her dreams? Can she change the future that she has dreamed about?
When one of Devalos' childhood friends dies, Allison has her suspicions about the cause; elsewhere, Joe puts in for a government project but a polygraph creates some issues.
Allison's feeling of dread turns into a horrifying reality when Joe is taken hostage at work, and Ariel must outwit her principal so she can call her mother.
Allison's brother (Ryan Hurst), a phone-hotline psychic, helps a person whose husband was killed.
Allison is lead to a body, but while they wait for an ID she has an encounter with the ghost; meanwhile, Joe is having difficulty adjusting back to work since his leave.
Allison is involved in a murder trial, but things go terribly wrong when another body is found, Joe begins seeing a therapist, and a young woman asks Allison for confidences.
Devalos deals with the aftermath of the case, Joe is approached by a lawyer, and Allison makes the decision to confide in Debra.
P.D. McCall's betrayal has devastating results for everyone in Allison's life, and Walter Paxton brokers a deal with the D.A.'s office.
