The Lucy Show
The Lucy Show was a spin off of the critically acclaimed and globally popular sitcom, I Love Lucy. This show begins where the aforementioned left off with Lucy (Lucille Ball) losing her husband. Lucy moves into a quaint apartment with her best friend Vivian Bagley (Vivian Vance) and their kids, and gets back out into the workforce, spending her days as the personal secretary of the grumpy, slow witted bank manager Mr. Mooney (Gale Gordon). The series focuses on Lucy’s struggle to find meaning and purpose in her life after losing her husband, which is touched on throughout her comical escapades as well as her candid discussions with Vivian.
