Notes
Donated by Joeanna Smith. Mostly a history of the regional lace industry. Part of a museum exhibit in Aug-Sept 1999 at "The Central Museum and Art Gallery" Northampton. Exhibition flyer says: "The exhibition will trace the history of lacemaking in the county from 1600 to the present day and will include a display of lace from the museum's collection. It will also incorporate the Westhope Group's new display of contemporary lace."
The pricking for the scarf on the front is on the back of the book. Includes a couple of more prickings and many historical photos of lacemakers.
