Donated. Patterns from the first book of bobbin lace to be printed (1561) in the German language "Nüw Modelbuch" with instructions for making and using them. Includes folder of 40 prickings. Nice insertion style and small edge trims.
Consists of a hardcover book with the details of the history, working diagrams, and good photos of reproduction lace. A second folder with the prickings is provided. Burkhard annotates some of the things from Nüw Modelbuch to indicate which ones were better in colors, and tips on the working of the crossings that are useful.
