In its present stage of development psychoanalysis is becoming prepared to integrate the findings and concepts of other disciplines with those derived from investigations of psychopathology through the therapeutic process. In thus widening its grasp, psychoanalysis may eventually achieve Freud's aspiration that it become a general psychology. Psychological Issues will publish a diversity of source materials for such a general psychoanalytic theory of behavior.
