Weird Fantasy #12 Al Williamson File Copy (EC, 1952) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Light tan to off-white pages. There's plenty in this issue for Wally Wood fans, as Wood drew two stories for the mag... plus there's a feature drawn by Joe Orlando back when his style closely resembled Wood's. Jack Kamen (one story) and Al Feldstein (cover art) also contributed. Overstreet 2004 VG 4.0 value = $66; FN 6.0 value = $99. Comes with an attractive certificate of authenticity for The Al Williamson Collection, signed by Al himself.
Williamson, Al :Al Williamson (American b.1931): Among Al Williamson's most notable works are his science-fiction/heroic fantasy pieces at EC in the fifties, his Flash Gordon comic books for King Comics in the sixties, his long-running comic strip Secret Agent Corrigan in the sixties and seventies, and his Star Wars film adaptations and newspaper strip in the eighties, all of which continued the fine illustrative tradition begun by his artistic idol, Alex Raymond .
