Weird Science-Fantasy #23 Al Williamson File Copy (EC, 1954) CGC FN+ 6.5 Cream to off-white pages. Interior art was handled by Wood, Bernard Krigstein, Joe Orlando, and Al Williamson. Overstreet 2004 FN 6.0 value = $96; VF 8.0 value = $240. Comes with an attractive certificate of authenticity for The Al Williamson Collection, signed by Al himself.

Williamson, Al :Al Williamson (American b.1931): Among Al Williamson's most notable works are his science-fiction/heroic fantasy pieces at EC in the fifties, his Flash Gordon comic books for King Comics in the sixties, his long-running comic strip Secret Agent Corrigan in the sixties and seventies, and his Star Wars film adaptations and newspaper strip in the eighties, all of which continued the fine illustrative tradition begun by his artistic idol, Alex Raymond .
