Some time ago, when Willow's sorcery ran black with grief, she killed a man. Warren Mears killed her girlfriend, and for that Willow flayed the skin from his living body. And now she's caught, and at his mercy. Without her mystical help, it will take Buffy and her allies hours to reopen the portal that Amy used to take her back to the ruins of Sunnydale. Buffy will never leave a friend to be tortured and killed, but will she be in time to save Willow?
