Wolverine arrives in the United States, only to be greeted by gunfire. He's been caught by the Weapon X group, and it's up to the X-Men to break him free. They do so, though he's not a grateful prisoner. Magneto is not nearly as surprised by this as his cohorts, as he tipped off Weapon X in order to get Wolverine into Xavier's group.
