With Grodd temporarily in jail, Star Sapphire recruits the Creeper for the Secret Society, since it is widely believed he is a criminal. The Creeper accepts, to get the chance to infiltrate and destroy the group from within. Meanwhile, the Trickster offers his services to Kid Flash and Captain Comet, and the threesome take on the Secret Society as the latter steal the second of the Sorcerer's Treasures.
