Peter is somewhat depressed, realizing that his aunt is still struggling with the loss of Uncle Ben. When Aunt May and Betty Brant are kidnapped, he soon realizes he has to face six of his major villains on the same day. Even worse, his powers are on the fritz; can regular old Peter Parker defeat Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture and Doctor Octopus?
This issue also contains pin-ups of the Burglar, the Chameleon, the Vulture, the Terrible Tinkerer, Dr. Octopus, the Sandman, Doctor Doom, the Lizard, the Living Brain, Electro, the Enforcers, Mysterio, the Green Goblin, and Kraven the Hunter. It is then followed by a "Secrets of Spider-Man" segment, detailing his powers and technologies, followed by lists of his supporting cast and heroic guest stars.
