Modern People sometimes published special issues or articles focusing on the horror/science fiction/fantasy genre, in this case, mainly Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. This seldom seen publication created in 1977, published by Modern People Productions, Inc. was literally a newspaper, printed on awkward apprx. 11-3/8” x 12-1/4”, unfolding sheets of news-paper stock, just like your average daily newspaper (making it difficult to find in collectible shape… it was not built to last, with the pulpy paper that frayed at the edges). 32 pages (inc. covers), B/W & color text and photos throughout.
