Notes
Dated October 1963, this Jack and Jill magazine for children is in great condition. The front cover features an illustration by Ruth Bendel of an Elf "painting the leaves". The colors are vibrant and strong and the middle insert pages (as shown in the pictures) are present and intact, which isn't always the case with these old magazines. You will love the great Halloween illustrations of pumpkins, owls, and spooky old trees.
The back cover features a retro-looking Santa Claus encouraging subscribers to get their Christmas shopping done early. This magazine contains tons of wonderful vintage illustrations, advertising, articles for kids to read, puzzles and games to play.
