Each of the Star Trek Forever stamps showcases one of four digital illustrations inspired by elements of the classic TV show, which pushed the boundaries of popular science fiction and still fascinates audiences five decades after its TV premiere.

The digital color postmark features a rendering of the Starship Enterprise, along with the stamp title in blue and abstract elements in gold reminiscent of the science-fiction genre. Also included is the date and location of stamp issuance: September 2, 2016, New York, NY 10199.
