Plot

Legacies is the debut of a thrilling science fiction voice and an innovative piece of storytelling. It has garnered early praise humanity's future would be best served by leaving the beyond their worst imaginings on the world they left to set to rights the historical schism of their race. But in returning they set history reeling once more. Their only hope lies in the insight of a mentally disabled young man who has to come to understand more about being alien than any other human.
