Plot

Without Warning: Rush hour on the underground and a killer is at large in London, striking apparently haphazardly in a series of vicious attacks. So far the victims have all been women with no apparent connection - except that each of them regularly travels by tube, not knowing they could be the next victim. Andy Brewster, working undercover for the Metropolitan police, must find the killer before he strikes again. But danger comes not just from knives and bombs. Murder is deadlier when the heart is involved. Vanishing Point: Frankie, Cristina, Cassandra, Jenny and Pippa - five women living quite separate lives except for one crucial fact: each of them has devoted her life to the same duplicitous man. And when the man they all thought had gone for ever makes a shock appearance, the tangle that connects them starts to unravel - and it can only lead to murder.
