Plot

If it isn't one thing, it's another. Wishbone tries to catch a snooze in his big red chair, but he has to deal with interruption. Meanwhile, Wishbone's best friend, Joe Talbot, faces a problem of his own with a late social studies project about the passing of time. Wishbone is reminded of that great nap artist, Rip Van Winkle. Imagining himself as Rip, Wishbone takes a "snooze" in pre-Revolutionary War America--and doesn't wake up for twenty years! Suddenly, no one remembers him, and his whole world has been turned upside down. Once the most popular man in town, he is now treated like a traitor--and that's just the beginning of this pup's troubles.
