Quasar encounters the Unbeing and Origin. Two entities that are responsible for all the meta-beings in the universe. Origin was the one who chose certain people to be given powers, by being exposed to cosmic rays, bitten by radioactive spiders, or spontaneously decide to put on a pair of alien bracelets. Unbeing on the other hand, was the instrument of how many of these same people had been forgotten over the years. Quasar managed to protect Origin from the Unbeing, and as a gift was given a costume that retroactively replaced his old one altered by Eon when he became the Protector of the Universe.
