Are you ready to make Feathered Stars? If the answer is "yes, " it means that:
You are an experienced quiltmaker with good piecing skills.
You can cut and sew accurately.
You are not afraid of tiny pieces.
You have experience with set-in, partial and curved seam piecing.
Once you have a block made, you can design a quilt to go around it.
You are not in a hurry.
Inside this book you'll find patterns for 10 Le Moyne–based Feathered Star blocks. The smallest finishes at 12", the largest, at 38". Some are given in more than one size. Design and shading suggestions are given throughout. Patterns are written for rotary cutting and machine piecing. Templates are provided for checking purposes, and for quilters who prefer more traditional techniques.
Techniques used in this book call for 2 specialty rulers: The Feathered Star Ruler and the Precision Trimmer 3.
