Wild One

“The Wild One” tells the tale of Johnny (Marlon Brando) and his very large motorcycle group, the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It starts as the group crashes an established motorcycle race. Officials catch on and they are eventually thrown out, but before that they steal the second prize trophy. The group then rides to the next town over, Wrightsville, where they eventually stop at the local bar – Bleekers. They are loud and obnoxious but the bar owner (Ray Teal) lets them stay due to the fact they are continuously spending money in the establishment. The sheriff on the other hand, wants them to leave not only the bar but the town as well. Johnny decides to stay in town after all the rest of the bikers leave, mainly because he has fallen in love with the sheriff’s daughter (Mary Murphy). He tries to win over her love by showing her the stolen trophy. Little does Johnny know winning over his love is the least of his problems when a rival motorcycle gang, The Beetles, rolls into town.
