L.A. Story

A hilarious fantasy send-up of the culture of Los Angeles in the 1990's. Harris Telemacher (Steve Martin) is a local weatherman who must confront his boredom with the Southern California lifestyle while at the same time being unaware of its many hilarious quirks. A talking billboard on the freeway leads him to choose a new type of romance in his life between newspaper reporter Sara (Victoria Tennant) and SaNDeE* (Sarah Jessica Parker.) Look for many hilarious cameos and comments on the emptiness of the California experience, from the local art and film scene, to the experience of crime on the freeways. An excellent soundtrack from Enya completes this wonderful film.
