Peter Flower (Simon Rex) is good with computers and must figure out Chin Li’s (Pat Morita) death. It might have been a robbery and killing, but then Peter realizes that the man had Cho Cho (Chevy Chase), a dog which speaks with humans. Cho Cho is the lone witness. Cho Cho knows karate from having watched his owner and can battle humans when necessary. Peter and Cho Cho try to solve the mystery and discover drugs, a millionaire, Hamilton Cage (Jon Voight), and a racetrack involved as well. The millionaire thinks that drugs and DNA from dogs can be a fountain of youth.
