Leaving Las Vegas

When Ben Sanderson (Nicholas Cage) loses his job due to excessive alcohol-related problems, he decides to leave it all behind and travel to Vegas. It is his belief that here in Sin City, he will succeed in drinking himself to death. The first night he arrives, he almost runs over a prostitute, who he finds out later is named Sera (Elizabeth Shue). Unexpectedly, the two see each other again the next day and begin to form a unique relationship. After Ben invites Sera up to his motel room with the promise to pay her $500, the dark secrets of each other's lives begin to intermingle. Without warning, Sera is suddenly the last person who may be able to save Ben.
