The Messenger

Will Montgomery (Ben Foster) a Staff Sergeant has just returned home from a tour of duty in war torn Iraq. His new assignment is to the Army’s Casualty Notification service. He is partnered with Tony Stone (Woody Harrelson) to carry the terrible news to the families of fallen soldiers. Will struggles with his mission while he tries to find comfort back home. He suddenly finds himself attracted to Olivia (Samantha Morton) after delivering the message of her husband’s death. Can Will focus on his mission or will love get the best of him? How will his story or survival, friendship and grief end?
