Charlton Heston (himself), an actor, is also the narrator of this documentary film about Alaska and the creatures that live there. There are parts of the state and the wilderness that have barely been seen by human beings, and it has been that way for many hundreds of years. There are many uses of helicopter photography in the film, showing the way that the wild animals live and interact with one another. There are some scenes featuring whales and bears in particular. The natural park which is the highlight of the film is preserved so that future generations can view its beauty later.
