At First Sight

“At First Sight” is about Amy Benic (Mira Sorvino) a self-driven architect who lives in Manhattan. When Amy takes a vacation at a resort she instantly falls for the masseur, Virgil Adamson (Val Kilmer) who happens to be blind since the age of three and assisted by his sister, Jennie Adamson (Kelly McGillis). While there, Virgil helps Amy see and hear the world in ways she never dreamt of. So Amy takes Virgil home with her back to New York where he undergoes a radical new treatment that helps restore his eyesight. However the world is all-new to him and Amy must help him process the brave new world around him. And when all seems to be wonderful something dire threatens Virgil’s newfound happiness. Can love survive and endure hardships of the heart?
