"The Day After Tomorrow", written, produced and directed by Roland Emmerich stars Dennis Quaid as Jack Hall - paleoclimatologist, who during the course of his research has found evidence to support the world is soon heading for another ice age. No one is taking him too seriously which is their mistake because disaster soon follows. A super hurricane in the Atlantic quickly develops and plunges the world into a new ice-age. New York City gets frozen over as the new ice age threatens the very survival of humanity!
