Dear John

Dear John is a love story centered around John (Channing Tatum) and Savannah (Amanda Seyfried) and set in the southern US in the late 90s. John is a soldier home on leave and Savannah is a college student home on spring break when they meet and fall in love over the course of a week. After that week together, John and Savannah know they were meant to be together and even though John's next deployment will last a year, they begin a relationship. When the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the US happens and John re-enlists for another tour of duty their love and commitment to one another will be tested.
