Manuel Esquema and Alan Riply, both played by Joseph Fiennes, tries to find the love of his life while simultaneously out for revenge for the one who took his love from him. This story is told from two perspectives of the man's life, fourteen years apart from each other. He searches for those who have ruined his love life and seeks revenge, yet mercy at the same time.
