Fontana/Collins (Nov 07, 1974)

Subject

  • Black Holes (Astronomy)

Plot

First Avon Paperback Edition (1975) in terrific condition (text is very tight, clean and unmarked as if never read) Spine is firm with no creases. Cover does show some wear along the edges with a bent tip on the front bottom corner and a crease on the back cover's top corner. All in all a very nice copy. John Gerald Taylor PhD., is a Emeritus Professor and Director of the Centre for Neural Networks at King's College London and Guest Scientist of the Research Centre at the Institute of Medicine in Jülich, Germany. His previous positions and interests, while still at Kings College, were in mathematics and physics. He has researched the phenomenon of black holes extensively. In this his third book he reveals in stark, clear language that the layperson can understand everything that is known about the black holes and the danger they pose for our universe.
