Ricky Barnes (Andy Serkis) leads a gang of criminals. They break into homes and torture the victims before making off with whatever they have chosen to steal. One evening, the gang bread into the home of pilot Denis Hopkins (Jonny Lee Miller). Together with his wife Valerie, they live in an upscale house with an upscale lifestyle. During the break-in and torture, Ricky’s gang kills Valerie who is pregnant. The baby survives but now Denis is after revenge. He commits a crime so that he can be sentenced to the same prison that Ricky now inhabits. Denis has a plan in mind for getting even. But will things end up the way he think?
