Nieuwe Buren: Seizoen 1

Peter and his pregnant girlfriend Eva buy a house in Almere. Their neighbors Steef en Rebecca are glad that there are younger people in the neighborhood, because they can't get along with their other neighbors, the older couple Lilly and Jasper. Before they move in their new house something happens with Eva's baby.

Eva and Peter are mentally not able to continue with the move to their new house. Rebbeca and Steef act like the fun new friends who are always there for them. But when Peter sees another couple coming over by Steef and Rebecca he wants to know what's going on.

Peter and Eva try to get their life back on track. The funeral of their baby is now four weeks ago. Rebecca and Stef explain what kind of hobby they have; swinging. Jasper keeps watching everything Rebecca en Steef are doing.

Steef is getting more involved in criminal issues. It is harder for him to cover his double life for Rebecca. Peter starts to suspect the problems Steef is in. Eva and Peter get in to a fight about as possible new pregnancy. Rebecca's business is not doing well.

Eva, Peter, Rebecca and Steef are going on a trip to get away from all the stress. Peter is nervous because Rebecca and Steef are swingers. He doesn't want to share Eva with Steef. Eva likes the idea, not because she wants to sleep with Steef, but because she wants to get pregnant.

Eva discovers that she is pregnant. To let Peter believe the baby is his, she has work to do, especially in bed. For the time being she only can talk to Rebecca, her partner in crime, about the pregnancy. Rebecca is getting in big trouble when she finds out about Steef's double life.

Rebecca tries to find out what Steef is keeping from her. It is getting harder and harder for Steef to live his double life. Peter knows Eva is hiding her pregnancy for him. When she tells him about her pregnancy he doesn't believe the baby is his.

The once so happy life of Rebecca and Steef is turning. Instead of seeking help with Eva Rebecca keeps her on a distance. Eva is getting more and more alone. Her secret is keeping Peter on a distance. He is secretly tracking all of Eva's moves.

Steef has no other choice than to tell Rebecca the whole truth. He also loses his job, temporary. Eva confesses that her baby isn't from Peter. But she refuses to have an abortion. Instead of that she runs away.

Steef and Rebecca come face to face with all of their lies. Peter has found out all of the lies Eva told him. Steef finds out his gun is missing and he knows Peter has it. Both couples come together in a cabin in the Woods and it end in a bloodbath.
