Plot

The job of an honarary Editor is never an easy one to fulfill. One has to keep in mind the requirements and tastes of one's readership, to blend in with the workload of one's printer, to coordinate the efforts of one's contributors and finally one has to keep on the right side of one's wife/mistress/ girlfrien/ meaningful relationship upon whose typing one relies for the production of the one's opus.
Ken Baker's name requires little intorduction tot he reades of the Post Office Stone. His series on the Postal History of Simonstown has been one of the regular features in our pages for ovelast year his work was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Postmark Society. Ken is a prolific wrtier who has, in the past, collected a number of important awards for his publications and when he submitted two manuscripts to the Editorial Board of the Post Office Stone, these were immediately snapped up.
