Alucard (Jôji Nakata) is the Hellsing Organization’s most important and effective defense in the battle against vampires despite the fact that he is a vampire himself. One day, he unintentionally shoots a policewoman called Seras Victoria (Yoshiko Sakakibara). Alucard gives her the choice of living if she changes into a vampire. Thus, she is completely transformed. When Sir Integra (Yoshiko Sakakibara) reports her findings about the organization to the members of the conference, Alucard and his colleagues, including Seras, have to guard their head quarters from the attack of the brutal Valentine brothers, Jan Valentine (Kazuya Nakai) and Luke Valentine (Takehito Koyasu) who claim to possess all the powers of Alucard and challenge him.
